Therapeutic Approaches at Inner Sense Psychology

Developing an Inner Sense

Adam is highly experienced in trauma and draws on his own lived experiences to inform his work at a deep level. He helps clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework, demonstrating how to shift the narratives in their nervous systems. Additionally, he provides a comprehensive toolkit of emotional regulation skills to support them throughout their journey. Adam is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation (EMDR) therapy, which assists clients in desensitising the imprints of past experiences that trigger maladaptive response patterns in their nervous systems and affect their lives negatively in the present.

Recognizing that each client is at a different stage in their journey and may have varied experiences with psychological therapy, it's essential to appreciate the need for a process of mutual understanding. Psychological therapy is a collaborative journey that requires commitment from both the clinician and the client.
