Doing 1 on 1 therapy can be intense and expensive. While you get all of the therapists' attention - you get ALL OF THE THERAPISTS' ATTENTION! And it can be daunting for some. In a group environment, some of that intensity gets diffused, and the nervous system can relax a little more, and sometimes that's when the change that we're looking for happens. Obviously working with others provides a great chance to network and make new friends. It's really a great way to try therapy if you've never done it before.
